Luxury from the Take Off

For those that want the benefits of private air-travel at the cost of a regular premium class fare Al-Khayala airline is the prefect solution. Flying an Arabian horse emblem on the aircraft tails, the fleet is predominantly made up of Airbus A319s. Al-Khayala currently flies between Riyadh, Jeddah, Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh, Beirut, Dubai and Kuwait.

Launched in 2005, the airline is part of the National Air Service, owners of Nasair, Saudi Arabia's first low-cost airline, and NetJets Middle East which is the world's largest fractional private jet ownership provider. The VIP shuttle flights are a new service category offering travellers an exclusive service that is more personalised and up-scale than the best regional commercial airlines can offer.

Al-Khayala's superiority lies in many realms. The Business Class only airline prides itself on giving you better service from start to finish. From the get go booking a seat has been made as easy as possible with the option of either booking directly online via the company's website, or if you'd rather there is the possibility of dealing directly with a telephone customer service representative. Speaking of seats, you'll find greater personal space per seat because the configuration was created to comfortably hold 44 passengers instead of the more cumbersome commercial 120 seats. Naturally that luxury has been enhanced with state-of-the-art audio and visual entertainment.

If that hasn't wooed you then the fact the in-flight crew members are some of the best trained in the region will. Failing that, if at all possible, the dedicated chaos-free Al- Khalaya terminal should do the trick. All these factors certainly did it for us.
