Trg Od Oružja
Although it is the largest open space within the town walls by far, this doesn't stop it from becoming elbowroom only during the peak tourist season.

Kotor is inextricably connected to the sea, and this well-kept museum is a must-see if you wish to more fully understand its history.
St Tryphon's Cathedral
The city's most important and impressive building, dating back to the 9th century, and is now home to a church museum.

The Citadel
The best place to snap photos of yourself with a ridiculously large cruise liner as the backdrop.
St John's Castle & The Fortifications
The 45-minute or so climb up the city walls is well worth the resulting views, beware of the slippery stone path though.

The Village
Porto Montenegro's exclusive shopping centre is home to boutiques offering some of the top fashion brands, as well as stores catering to all of your (super) yachting needs.
Kotorska Suvenirnica
This large souvenir shop sells everything from t-shirts and magnets to antique lead soldiers and icons blessed by local priests.

Kamelija
A modern indoor shopping mall with shops, cafés and a supermarket set across three levels.

Luna Rosso
Excellent Mediterranean cuisine, with quite possibley the most romantic terrace in all of Montenegro.
Royal
Lined with portraits of royalty, the house restaurant at Hotel Cattaro offers the most stately dining you’ll find in town.
Galion
Situated just across the harbour from the old town, you won't be able to find better views to go with your meal.

Scala Santa
Said to be the oldest restaurant in Kotor, your meal here is akin to time travel.
