Enter Design Q, an English design consultancy that specialises in the transport sector. The firm teamed up with Case4De, a German computer-aided solutions engineering company in order to bring to life its vision of the world’s largest private jet. Gary Doy, joint founder of Design Q, claims, “At Design Q we believe it is our role to create designs that not only fulfil the customers’ expectations but also raise the bar, truly taking their breath away. This aircraft is all about the ultimate luxury travel experience and exudes confidence and commitment on the part of the owner.”
Some of the more notable design elements include five luxurious private quarters and a separate entrance at the front of the aircraft that allows passengers to board via an elevator, rather than a side door. The elevator can then be used throughout the flight. Descend to the lower deck and you’ll find a marble-lined hamam where you can while away the journey. Additionally, there is a prayer room planned for the upper deck, a large boardroom at the front of the aircraft and a ‘wellbeing room’ somewhere in between. Confused? It is essentially a room replete with a display screen floor showing the ground beneath the plane. If your sybaritic fantasies have not yet been fulfilled, perhaps the concert hall with a stage and seating for ten will impress you? It makes you wonder if there’s a need to ever go home.
