Why Baby Bling?
I decided to combine my knack for design and create something new.

Bling, baby and unique.
Baby Bling – cute or lavish?
Certainly a blend of both but more lavish and OTT - in a good way of course.
Baby Bling – a service for children or parents?
Parents.
Which Baby Bling item would you have loved as a child?
One item?! I would have wanted them all.
What was your most extravagant bling request?
Someone once asked us to bling-up an entire pram.
Who is your dream client?
Madonna and her kids for sure.
Who was your most famous client?
Selma Hayek.
Who has the most stylish baby?
European children are elegant but the Middle Eastern kids are on another level – they are pampered beyond belief and they’re definite style icons, especially the Emirati royalty’ kids.
Brangelina kids - bling or bland?
Both, [laughs] it depends which one.
Your future plans?
I am definitely franchising in the near future and expanding within the UAE.
Are you a Daddy’s girl?
Totally!
Your favourite kids show from the 1980s?
Small Wonder!
Are you an optimist, pessimist or a realist?
I would say I’m optimistic more so than anything else!
What is your favourite fairytale?
It is a tie between Sleeping Beauty and The Little Mermaid!
Favourite shopping destination?
I would have to say, New York.
What was your career high?
I get highs all the time especially when one of my designs does really well. I also love when a customer walks in and has an amazingly positive reaction to the store. I could sit and watch people’s faces all day long as I get such a kick out of it.
Would you rather have more sons or daughters?
Most definitely daughters.
How many kids do you want to have?
More than one, less than five.
Do you design most of the stuff in your store?
I design a range of T-shirts and jewellery for kids along with some accessories. Designing is my favourite part of the job.
Favourite piece you designed?
VIB - it was my first design and now it has become our best seller.
A word of advice for parents?
Spoil them rotten [laughs].
