Six Reasons Why Sinot’s Aqua Offers a Glimpse Into the Future of Luxury Yachting
  1. Designed by Dutch yacht-design company, Sinot (in collaboration with Lateral Naval Architects), Aqua is a 112-metre hydrogen-electric superyacht concept with ironed out engineering and architecture schematics.
  2. The liquified hydrogen, which is stored at -253C degrees in two 28-tonne vacuum isolated tanks, is converted into electrical energy by proton exchange membrane fuel cells, and it’ll power all the yacht’s needs.
  1. Water is the only by-product of the hydrogen system, which also uses large batteries to buffer the generated electricity. The result is a top speed of 17 knots, cruising speed of 10 knots and range of 3,750 nautical miles.
  2. There are five decks in total, with accommodation for a total of 31 crew and 14 guests, the highlight of which is the full 15.4-metre wide owner’s “pavilion”, which occupies the front half of the upper deck.
  1. Key features of the owner’s pavilion include an open plan layout divided by wooden screens, floor to ceiling windows on both sides and an amazing all-glass room at
  2. Amenities in this 650 million USD yacht include a cascading infinity pool, a gym, a hydro-massage room, a yoga studio and carrying space for two 32-foot tenders, three Jet Skis and a helicopter.
