Editor’s Letter issue 21

This issue is a particularly fun one as its name might suggest. But in choosing to put together the Entertaining Issue we actually widened our scope to the extent that we were able run a few new stories and topics that we’d never normally have allowed ourselves to include but that are none

All the same, this issue falls in June/July and the main story of these two months is the World Cup, the most widely-viewed sporting event on earth, one which over 750 million people tune in to in order to cheer on their favourite team. It only comes around every four years so this is in fact Bespoke’s first. To mark this milestone, we took a punt with our cover story and main interview. In deciding that the man of the tournament will be Lionel Messi, we managed to secure an interview with the soon to be legend. We just hope we don’t end up eating humble pie, and parting with a rather large sum of cash, as Argentina fail to get through the group stages.

When you’re not glued to the screens following the action from South Africa, the summer months are primarily about time off to enjoy some fun in the sun so I hope we have given you food for thought whether in terms of beach toys, summer wear, or even learning a thing or two about a place you thought you knew already – Saint Tropez. Wherever you choose to spend your holidays, do it with Bespoke in your hands.
